USCG licensed Captains Greg Shute (FGR202) and his son, Brennan (FGR3938), both pictured above, have passion and enthusiasm for spending time on the water that is evident to all of those who know them. Originally from Southern New Jersey, Greg has fished the mid-Atlantic since being a young boy with more than 25 years focused on the Chesapeake Bay and has more than a decade of professional guiding. Brennan has fished the bay his entire life with his father. His love of the water has resulted in a career as a deck officer on a container ship after graduating from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Now with over a decade of working on charter boats, he will offer charter trips when he is not at sea. Both captains pride themselves on teaching and sharing fishing techniques with anglers of all skill levels and encourage passengers to take part in all aspects of the trip. Whether it is your first time fishing or you are a highly skilled angler looking for a boat to fish, Greg and Brennan will work hard to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable day on the water.

We operate a pair of semi-custom Judge Yachts 265 Center Consoles specifically designed for fishing our waters. The open, unobstructed deck runs the full length of the boat for plenty of room to fish. The shallow draft makes flats and shorelines easily accessible and the high freeboard provides comfort and security on the bay. Both boats are powered by quiet, reliable Honda Marine 350HP v8 outboards capable of pushing the boats to over 40 knots and are fitted with a premium Furuno Marine Electronics suite — Doppler radar, dual- GPS chartplotters, CHIRP digital fishfinder, side-scan sonar, and VHF radio. Each vessel also includes a private enclosed area for changing or restroom use, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable day on the water.
iFishMD is fully licensed and insured for charter fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and the Mid-Atlantic coastal region. All fishing licenses, bait, and gear are supplied. Through the support of AllTackle.com, we proudly use high quality Shimano fishing equipment for our light tackle fishing. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment. However, it is recommended that you discuss with the Capt. before your trip.
NOTE: Walk-ons may bring no more than 2 rods per person.
